NEO Certified for Third Consecutive Year as a Great Place to Work®

“Employer of choice” recognition based on independent analysis and anonymous employee surveys

Toronto | October 13, 2022 – Third time’s a charm! NEO has been certified for the third consecutive year as a Great Workplace following a thorough and independent analysis by the Great Place to Work® Institute. Certification is recognized worldwide, by employees and employers alike, as the global benchmark for identifying outstanding employee experiences.

The certification is based on feedback about the workplace experience directly from employees through a confidential survey and an extensive application process including an in-depth review of the company’s HR programs, policies, and practices.

“Creating a culture based on mutual respect, collaboration, and innovation has been a priority since NEO’s inception,” says Jos Schmitt, President and CEO of NEO. “We’ve made great strides with our continued focus on equity, diversity and inclusion, and are grateful to each member of the NEO team for the contributions they make every day. This Certification is especially meaningful because it’s granted based on the anonymous feedback of our team – those who actually know, first-hand, what it’s like to work here.”

Jos continues: “I am proud to acknowledge that our exceptional, high-performance culture played a significant role in NEO’s recent acquisition by Cboe Global Markets – a company that shares our values and commitment to being one of the best companies to work for. Together, we look forward to raising the bar even higher.”

So, What Makes NEO a Great Place to Work?

The anonymous survey results indicate that the NEO team values the company’s active commitment to diversity and inclusion, challenging work assignments, ongoing mentorship and support, dynamic company culture, and approachable executive leadership and managerial team, among other factors.

A happy and engaged workforce will rise to the challenge in delivering outstanding client service, so an investment in our team is also an investment in our clients,” noted Claudia Rinaldo, Head of Human Resources for NEO. “Over the past year, NEO has hosted a number of events focused on furthering our team’s awareness and understanding of various diversity and inclusion issues. We continue to offer extended benefits for mental health services and a discretionary bonus to every member of the team, based on merit and their contribution to the company. Full coverage for upskilling and certification programs is a huge benefit for our employees, and of course, regular get-togethers in and out of the office go a long way in building a tight-knit, cohesive, and loyal team.”
