The NEO Exchange & The RBC Foundation: Financing Nature-Based Solutions

A stock exchange that works to protect and promote biodiversity? That’s right, it’s true.

The NEO Exchange is excited to announce our collaboration with the RBC Foundation and Innovation North to create a nature-based financial instrument designed to meet the needs of environmentally-savvy investors that want to use their money to create a better planet – or for those that are simply looking for a new investment option.

Nature preservation is critical to mitigating climate change. Yet, human activity has caused extensive biodiversity loss, soil erosion, water scarcity, and forest degradation—depleting the power of nature and exacerbating our climate problems. This new financial instrument spearheaded by NEO – still a work in progress – will help offset these activities and direct money into replenishing our natural ecosystems.
